UPS - Uninterruptible Power Supplies

Double conversion UPS systems continuously deliver stable power without delays in transfer time. These are typically used for mission-critical equipment.

Electromagnetic components play an important part in the dimension, cost, efficiency, and performance of the final product. Semiconductor and controls development have increased the switching frequency allowing for more power density (Watt/m3). Switching frequencies higher than 10kHz are required to change from silicon steel cores to powder alloy core.

Rectifier Inductors are present in the Rectifier block and Battery Charger Inductors are needed in the charger block. AC Output Inductors are used in the Inverter block. Current Transformers are required in the energy metering block of the UPS system.
