Q3 2025 – The manufacturing facility in Mexico has completed a significant capacity increase for Instrument Current Transformers (ICTs). Fueled by market demand, this expansion includes more core-winding capability, additional annealing ovens, and an increase in raw-material stock to meet growing needs.
Key Highlights of the Expansion
- Manufacturing Capacity Surge: We have tripled our annealing oven capacity. With three ovens now fully operational, we can anneal on a continuous basis—significantly increasing overall production throughput.
- Core Winding Versatility: A second core winding machine has been installed. This supports a broader range of core sizes, from 40 mm (1.7 inches) up to 650 mm (25.5 inches) in diameter, and enables multiple core geometries including toroidal, oval, and rectangular. Combined with existing winding capabilities, this expands our total offering to a range of 40 mm to 800 mm in core diameter.
- Raw Materials and Lead Times: We have increased raw materials in stock, enabling reduced overall lead times.
- Targeted Capacity Increase: The production lines have been expanded, resulting in substantially increased output.

Future Outlook
This expansion is central to Falco's approach to vertical integration. By controlling more processes in-house, we achieve better quality throughout the process. This upgrade to our Mexico facility isn't just about making more—it's about making our products better and faster.
